I am a big believer in having time out to recharge my batteries on all levels. A little ‘me time’ in our busy lives is a must if we are to become happier and stress free. I believe that it is about getting a balance, balance between bus’i’ness and s’i’lence.
All of my Yoga workshops and retreats combine the physical side of yoga with meditation and pranayama (yoga breathing techniques) so that one works from a holistic level. I also incorporate my own understanding of yoga philosophy and I encourage my students to enquire within and to feel able to discuss freely in the philosophy classes, so that they can start to see how yoga helps them in their day to day lives.
Like with the dimpleyoga classes, try to arrive before the workshop or retreat commences so that you can get nicely settled in and can relax into the ambience. Please do not eat a big meal at least 2 hours before the first class, one hour for a light snack and not to drink water during classes, except philosophy, as this will add unnecessary strain on your internal digestive organs. Please bring with you a yoga mat and a small towel. Most importantly, please come with an open mind, an open heart, a smile, a willingness to learn and a touch of child-like curiosity.
I truly believe that your practice and understanding can be deepened if doing a yoga workshop or your goals and dreams will come alive if doing a coaching workshop. It’s also just a really nice way of meeting like minded individuals!
I look forward to meeting you at one of my workshops or retreats
